Pinewood Derby Rules:

1. All contestant cars must originate from the Official Cub Scout Pinewood Derby Car Kit and utilize all the parts in their proper context (axles must be axles, tires must be the running tires, block ofwood must be used as the basis for the frame/chassis).

2. All cars must fit on the track without encroaching upon another lane.

3. Cars cannot emit any liquid, especially urine, acid, bases, or flammables. Some of this may be waived if Moe builds a steel track.

4. Projectiles must be tethered with a restraining wire not longer than 36".

5. Cars may be of any weight providing they do not stress track, guardrail, or barrier pieces.

6. Cars may not be armed with any device or substance that will harm the track, permanently slow a lane, or injure any person.
